Hot-on-the-heels of a sold-out opening run and a critically acclaimed UK debut in Bristol, Jerseyman songwriter & piano-vocalist Ant Noel brings his swinging new production Midnight Joanna to The Sundown for two special performances.

Featuring a 10-strong band of incredible professional musicians, Midnight Joanna is a thrilling show of rollicking rock ‘n’ roll, jivin’ jazz, blistering blues & brassy ballads, telling the tales of colourful characters within the atmospheric walls of a late-night piano bar.

All profits from these unique shows will be going towards local charity Healing Waves, who run life-changing ocean therapy sessions for individuals living in the Channel Islands.

The day will feature a relaxed matinee – particularly suitable for guests with neurodivergence, where the volume is kept slightly lower, audience numbers smaller & the house lights less obtrusive – followed by a full-throttle evening performance.

It’s open mic at The Dive, a bustling piano bar.

The Host sits at a tune-worn Joanna, ready to play into the night.

Starry-eyed singers and weary waitresses,

Best-friend bartenders and lairy locals,

Troubled troubadours and a life-of-the-party landlord.

Reputations are made… or ruined

Dreams are realised… or forgotten

By midnight, they will all be in for the ride!

Midnight Joanna is supported by Creative Island Partnership and ArtHouse Jersey.
