This concert promises to be an incredible evening of classical music, featuring the world-renowned violinist Classical BRIT winner Chloë Hanslip and the Jersey Chamber Orchestra.
The concert opens with Kuhlau – Elverhoj Overture, a Danish pianist and composer, who was central to the Danish ‘Golden Age’. This concert also features Bruch’s Violin Concerto, a particularly emotive piece. Finally, two of the greats, Brahms and Mendelssohn will be performed with help from the Jersey Youth Choir. Brahms’s great 1st Symphony ends the concert with a flourish.
With her first debut at the BBC proms at 14, Chloë Hanslip established herself very early on as an artist of distinction. Chloë recorded the music as a child prodigy at the age of 13 with the London Symphony Orchestra on Warner Classics.
